A very special aspect of being the Rose of Tralee is having the opportunity to visit each Irish Rose in their hometown. Over the last few days, I was graciously welcomed into homes, taken on tours, and hugged by too many to count- all thanks to the incredible Centre Directors and my very good friends, the Roses. Thank you to Steve Cronley and the @roseoftraleefestival office for organizing one of the best trips of my life. Thank you sincerely to the remarkable Roses and their respective Centres, families and friends for welcoming me into your beautiful counties and homes with open arms. Overall, I spent time with 19 Roses in 10 days from all over the world, and I am so sincerely grateful for that time together. I will cherish these memories forever. 'The friendships you make during this festival will last a lifetime. What an incredible night at the Dublin Rose Ball on Saturday We had the most spectacular evening, huge thank you to everyone involved in putting on such a wonderful evening! Most importantly though, the event raised much-needed funds for SavingDylan.com – a very worthy cause that deserves all the support it can get! If you've even the price of your morning coffee to spare, please visit their website, and see the inspiring work Alan and Michelle are doing to help their son Dylan – their courage and their dedication to funding MSD research is astonishing, all while caring for their sick little boy. All donations, big or small, will be put to very good use #savingdylan #dublinrose #dublinroseball
